Planning specialist

Responsibilities (accountable) for:
-Plan and schedule the production activities, such as ordering materials, assigning tasks, setting deadlines, and monitoring progress. A manufacturing coordinator uses various tools and methods, such as software, spreadsheets, charts, and reports, to create and update production plans and schedules.
-Communicates with other departments, such as engineering, quality, sales, and logistics, to coordinate the production requirements and expectations.
- Supervise and support : ensures that the production staff follow, performance standards and procedures. resolves utilization issues or conflicts that may arise.
- identifies and analyzes any problems or defects that may affect the production output, quality, or efficiency
-Participates in continuous improvement initiatives, such as lean manufacturing, kaizen, or six sigma, to optimize the production performance and reduce waste and costs.
-Report and document the production results, activities, and issues.
-prepares and submits various reports and documents, such as production reports, inventory records, quality records, incident reports, and audit reports.
- maintains and updates the production data and information, such as production rates, yields, costs, and customer feedback.
- ensures that the production records and documents comply with the regulatory and organizational requirements and standards
Tasks as:
Receive sales requests & priorities
Checking availability
Schedule customer delivery according to rates
Manage Manufacturing order with needed products
Manage material requests according to plan
Monitoring wip (pre &post location )to assure material consumption
Manage customer & vendor return & assure in done correctly
Send needed information (product, consumables &labor qty) for costing department
Any other tasks according to related business needs
Must Have
- Bachelor Degree or Higher
- Passion for software products
- Perfect written English
- Highly creative and autonomous
- Valid work permit for Belgium
Nice to have
- Experience in writing online content
- Additional languages
- Google Adwords experience
- Strong analytical skills
